This beach is just beside the boat launch where we loaded the boat onto the trailer to put it away for the winter. There was time for playing in the sand, playing on the enormous play structure, and yes, even a quick dip. Our 4 year old granddaughter went charging into the water, not once but 5 or 6 times, under water, wet head to toe. Swimming outside in October --- she's Canadian through and through! lol
What a beautiful contrast to our comparatively treeless coastal landscape, as well as a preparation process for winter that we really don't have to do since the climate here is mostly temperate through the year. This project gives a welcome perspective not only on the subject of people's shots, but on the lives and cultures of other areas. Thank you for sharing!
Gorgeous composition, Anne! It is so SERENE! Love that sunlight on the lake. What fun . . and now winter comes. This will always be a beautiful reminder of your summer . . well-spent there.
The beach is beautiful! Ah, the resiliency of kids...I heard people were swimming on the Cape this past weekend too. It was 85 in Vermont. Crazy, but wonderful weather!
