We haven't carved a pumpkin in a few years but we have a little collection of glass ones. Here's one of them. It's sitting on a soaking wet deck railing - we've had a lot of rain recently! You can catch a tiny glimpse of the river on the right, through the trees. It's the same river that you see from time to time in both my pics and in Barry's////@poppa [when he has time to post!].
The next time you see this railing, it will probably be covered in birds. We're getting ready to start the winter feeding activities. We don't feed them in spring summer and fall, but starting in November or so, we feed them A LOT during the winter months --- about 10 lbs of sunflower seeds a day for the coldest months! Stay tuned! ;-)
Mega thanks for the super kind comments and fav's yesterday on the Monkshood.
@mwarren365 haha, funny you say that, Mike! If i had a gun, i'd shoot the squirrels but then hubby would probably shoot me so that wouldn't work in the long run! the squirrels steal a lot of the seed, i just hope the birds steal it back again from their hiding places.
your little smiley pumpkin is cute:) great focus and dof!
