The Routine by sunnygreenwood

The Routine

Most mornings the Evening Grosbeaks descend onto the deck and eat some [quite a few!] sunflower seeds. It's not unusual to get a pic of more than one in identical poses, like they're exercising or dancing together, not just chowing down on breakfast.

Many thanks for dropping by. I appreciate the new follows and the kind comments and fav's on yesterday's blue jay pic.
Beautiful birds! The nearly identical postures make this shot so interesting to see. Lovely capture!

Your pictures have reminded me how much I used to enjoy birding. I even took two years of a science/math class in college about bird watching. I hd to give in and dig up my favorite old bird watching book, a little known book called "secrets of the Nest" by Joan Dunning.
