We lucked out timing-wise and enjoyed what will probably be the last day of sliding at this huge hill not too far from us. The weather was warm and we could literally hear the snow melting. To give you an idea of the size of the hill, you can magnify and see our grandson half way up on the left. There is a tall light standard at the top of the hill that looks like a little post in this pic. Huge hill, well maintained by the town, great fun! Had we known we'd have the hill to ourselves, we would have taken Kala with us. Now that would have tired her out!
looks very pretty with the sun out, blue skies against the white of the snow and the skeleton trees, but I agree with @buccigrossi the hike back up looks like work
Wow seems to be the best response to this giant hill! It is huge. I would love to sled down this, but I'm not sure how many times because that climb up looks killer. I miss sledding...
