There is a very large public dog park about an hour away from where we live. From time to time we take Kala there to play with the other dogs. If we walk the perimeter, it takes us a half hour and gives Kala time to have a run with dozens of other dogs of all shapes and sizes. In the pic above, she walks briskly, looking for the next buddy to come in the opposite direction. They play for a minute while Barry and I keep walking, then she runs to catch up. She has the routine down pat. Or maybe it's us who have the routine down pat ... lol
Many thanks for dropping by. Glad you all liked the little Downy yesterday. She's a cutie! Today's pic has some cool late afternoon shadows and captures a great "Kala moment". Tomorrow's pic with be with my new camera! ;-) Yes, my new Nikon finally arrived today after weeks of waiting. It's not the camera for most of you but perfect for my arthritic hands, a light weight bridge with an amazing zoom.
Dog walks are great! That looks like a nice one. Congrats on your new camera! I used my tax return to get a super zoom today! Now I have to wait a week for a day off to go out and really try it. Love the shadows! Soon there will be leaves.
Gorgeous POV, Anne! I feel like I know Kala . . she's beautiful. Such a lovely place to walk. So you're getting a new camera . . anxious to see your new pictures! What fun. Know what you mean about the weight with the camera . . mine is heavy. Still I love the challenge. BTW, you really have done AWESOME work with the camera that you already had. You're a fantastic photographer . . you have such a great eye!
This is really beautiful, Anne and it looks like all three of you had a fabulous day! I can't wait to see what you do with your new camera. Congratulations on a new toy!
Great that Kala has such a lovely place to play! We haven't had much luck with dog parks - ours seem to be filled with people visiting with each other while their dogs get into trouble. Congrats on the new camera! Can't wait to see what you do with it!
