I know I used these words of our national anthem when the Canadian flag was fluttering beside the Bluebird but it seemed fitting to use this caption again, this time with some Canada Geese standing so attentively on watch.
My computer is back from Apple as good as new and I'll catch up here at 365 over the next few days. It stopped reading the camera memory card reader right after I posted my 365th so I can't help but think there was a message from the universe that I needed to take it easy, so things may slow down just a bit.
Again, I thank you for all the remarkable comments on my 365th pic. The fav's are incredible. Posting it on a Thursday will preclude it from the top 20 but the great comments and new followers more than make up for that. MANY thanks for dropping by.
ps. According to Cornell Lab of Ornithology, the oldest known Canada Goose was 30 years and 4 months! Holy moly!
Great shot of these two - they look as if they are posing especially for your return to 365. Glad the PC is fixed - it's terrible when it all comes craashing round your ears - I had the same problem just before Christmas
Welcome back! Check out Laurie's picture from yesterday. I was worried that you weren't going to get to see it. Love the geese, the clairity, and their proud stance.
Congratulations on your gorgeous finish once more ... it was fabulous! Am glad the computer is "well" again AND these geese are gorgeous! So happy to see that you're staying. :)
they really can stand still for a period of time, it is amazing. wonderful shot. i'm having computer problems, too. my laptop decided it wants to be eternally plugged in. i'm going to have the batter checked as maybe i just need a new battery. and i thought my tax refund would go towards a dslr, but i suppose i don't really need it. the laptop takes precedence, really.
