Pulsatilla by sunnygreenwood

Pulsatilla

Here's another purple and orange combo, this time on a Pulsatilla. It's an interesting plant, known for both it's poisonous and medicinal features.

Here's a copy/paste from wiki: "Pulsatilla is highly toxic, and produces cardiogenic toxins and oxytoxins which slow the heart in humans. Excess use can lead to diarrhoea, vomiting and convulsions, hypotension and coma. It has been used as a medicine by Native Americans for centuries ... as a sedative and for treating coughs." It is also used for "reproductive problems ... and as an initial ingredient in homeopathic remedies."

Many thanks for dropping by.
I like the shape and color of the petals. Your garden must be pretty now that it is coming back to life.
