"Sensation"

I really like hybrid lilacs. I believe this one is called "Sensation". The sun was a little bright but the flower reminds me of a nice afternoon visiting an amazing garden centre so I'll go with this pic for today.

oooh! is that what these are? there's some in our neighbourhood and i've wondered, because they look like lilacs, but don't quite smell like them :) this is very lovely!

What a beauty ... gorgeous colors and clarity. I think that the old-fashioned lilacs have a stronger (nicer) aroma ... do you!?! However, I don't think that I've seen one quite like this hybrid that you shot here either.

@sunnygreenwood - It seems when they hybrid flowers, they lose their scent. Roses come to mind. I love the beautiful lilac in your picture but wouldn't want to give up it's wonderful scent.
