One of my favourite annuals for planters is Lobelia. For some reason, I'm also liking extreme crops. I'll be ready for the banner shot if facebook ever forces me into timeline.

You're right that this would be perfect for your FB banner. Beautiful shot. I've been hearing from several FB friends that they've been forced into timeline, so it's probably coming for you also. I made the switch recently, and I don't mind it... but I don't love it, either.
Your flowers are only surpassed by your winter birds. Great color on this, and great focus. Don't worry if you don't have time or energy for commenting. Those who can will. I always enjoy looking at your beautiful photographic images.
