Red Velvet

This daylily bloom is huge - one of the biggest I've seen. I like the dark ruffled edges. The plant survives quite well at the end of our driveway in spite of the heavy shade.

anne, down at niagara they have lilies like this but deep red they're almost black. i don't know if i like it but they surely are engaging. i like this colour, a cross between dark pink and red and yes, it does look velvety. i like it!
