Nuthatch

I like the friendly personality and the unusual poses of the white breasted nuthatch. This is not the crispest bird shot I've posted but I like it because it marks the beginning of a new "season" of 365 - birds! We started feeding them much earlier this fall compared to other years, mostly because we were worried about the lack of food due to the drought we had this summer.
