Living on the Edge

This little inuksuk's feet are positioned inches from the edge of a very high rock cut with a view of the beautiful valley I showed you yesterday. There is a busy road a way down below. Fences were made to climb, I guess.

Many thanks for dropping by.
good idea for a shot

Very nice shot! Because of you, I recently noticed a Texan inuksuk--I didn't even know what they were before you started posting photos and explanations of them. Thanks!

Very cool! If you put a fence up there is always someone who wants to get over it!

Looks like a nice vantage point. I think of you every time I see the one my late father put on the trail to the pond.

I like this perspective....because I saw lots of these from the highway perspective when we were traveling thru Ontario! When we were kids going from Toronto to Manitoulin (on old highway 69) Dad would stop at one of these rock cuts and we would climb up and have a picnic lunch and look at the cars zooming by. Good memories.

I love your inuksuk photos. Once Steve and I built one in Maine, and I have several in my house on windowsills and counters.
