The colours are slightly past their best now, with a lot of the reds already on the ground and turning brown. The greens in this pic are pretty much evergreen trees which will stay like this throughout the winter.
In addition to the colours, I liked the "path" through the water, probably caused by the current as I didn't see a boat in sight while I was on the bridge.
Ah, now I read the comment you put with the picture. I'm glad I did, the trees are much more beautiful in the close-up. On a sunny day, this would knock your eye out with color.
