Junco Chow Down!

Hard to believe from this angle that this Dark Eyed Junco can fly! I pulled this pic up from last year .... lots of pics to spare then, not so many now! Busy times. This lighting shows a more typical slate'ish-toned eastern Ontario Junco compared to the previous brownish coloured one.

Our's are this color and they all just arrived back from wherever they go in the summer and fall to be here in the winter. Great plump shot.
