Winking by sunnygreenwood

Winking

The man on this tree has been winking at the birds on the railing for 11 years now. His eye disappeared within a short while of him being mounted on this tree [about 15 feet off the ground] and although I've looked around on the ground several times, I've never found it.

Many thanks for dropping by.
Hi Anne! I love the snow on your winking man, and your birds are beautiful, as always. Hope all is well!

The snow has given him a big nose and a somewhat bizarre smile! But the birds don't seem bothered!

I would think the birds got it! Cute capture of what's left of the tree with the face! Super detail on the birds too!

Fun shot, Anne! The birds are obviously quite accustomed to the tree dude after 11 years of being winked and smiled at while dining...they seem totally unconcerned. :)

Love the focus on this. That thing on your tree is hilarious. I guess and animal made off with his eye?

Oh the wise old man sees it all

the birds are ignoring him, and one of them must be singing la-la-la-lah! because it's taken off his one eye!
