Seeing these two birds mostly alone at the Railing Café, so close together and appearing to be chatting away with each other made me smile.

The redwinged black bird is probably fluffing a bit but I'm surprised at the apparent difference in size, especially if you remember the difference between the grosbeaks and the redpolls here: http://365project.org/sunnygreenwood/365/2013-03-01
