Mourning Doves

As our bird feeding season draws closer to an end at the Railing Café, I thought I'd share a pic or two of some of the birds who are less photogenic - at least for me. These guys will mingle with the other birds on the railing but most often gather under the deck [which is a few meters off the ground] to get the seeds that fall off.

I personally think they are beautiful. Their faces have that natural beauty to them... they don't need all the flash and fancy colors for their beauty to show.
