This redpoll appears to be taking a real good look at me before moving on. We found a dead merlin falcon on the deck of the Railing Café and the birds dispersed after that. It was time for them to migrate anyway so perhaps the timings of the falcon visit and the redpoll/grosbeak departures were co-incidental.
