MId May garden view, which sure looks barren compared to the view now, just 2 weeks later.
It shows a new acquisition - the big sun face hanging part way up the dead tree on the right. It adds some height to an otherwise flat garden over the weeping bed [part of the septic system].
It's always so great to see all the new life in the garden each year. Just wanted to stop by and let you know today is the final day of my project. Many thanks for following my project these last few years! Enjoy the summer, Anne!
Thanks for having me to visit in your garden! It looks so private and peaceful! Like the new sun! If you wanted to make it less flat, you could maybe build planter boxes or "tower gardens" of sorts... But it is pretty like this!
@espyetta thanks marybeth. i'd love to have some boxes, especially for some tiny hostas, so it would be easier to even notice them! the plants would have to be replanted in the ground in the fall or they wouldn't survive our winters. last year we bought some tall hooks for hanging some baskets of annuals. they can't be put out much before the end of may because of chance of frost. crappy garden zone that we live in!
