Showy Lady Slipper

A friend has a an awesome little section of her property where lady slippers grow. Lady slippers are members of the orchid family. I think this one is a showy lady slipper.

So beautiful...my Dad did something similar when we lived in Scarborough...he had a little wildflower section with Trilliums and Slippers and even a Jack in the Pulpit!
