The 5 year old kayaker is a bit of a dare devil. She jumped off this pier with absolutely no hesitation. I had told her earlier in the day that she would have to be a teenager to do it but then some friends came along in the evening and we went boating with them. They decided to stop at these piers and she "jumped at the chance". This is her second jump. Our friend and his 13 year daughter are jumping with her.
This shot looks absolutely beautiful on black! Yes - she is a brave soul. But. the whole picture - the river. the lovely lighting on the trees, and the clear capture of the people without being silhouetted - this is a marvelous shot!
