The Canadian Parliament Buildings

We took our granddaughters to an IMAX movie and although they loved the movie itself [about dolphins] the view outside the theatre was a bit lost on them. I'm sure as they get older, they'll come to realize how fortunate we are to have such beautiful and well-positioned parliament buildings. This is the back view from across the Ottawa River on a hot and hazy day.

I love the Parliament Buildings and all they represent! We truly are blessed to live in Canada with its' democracy. It sometimes frustrates me, but it is a whole lot better than the alternative.
