Nothing really remarkable about this phlox photo except that it's a garden shot taken on Nov 6th, during a fall that has seen it's share of frost and even snow. For you gardeners out there, it was taken in Canada zone 4b at best. I can't recall having blooms in the garden this late. Even the monkshood are barely recognizable.
I've been gradually getting rid of all the tall phlox like this because they get so shabby in August and September. I think this one has earned its keep.
It is amazing hat you still have phlox so late in the season. Nice combination of colors and shapes in this capture. My phlox and black-eyed susans also lasted until last week.
super macro shot, anne. thank you for your comments. also thank you for your concern about my family in the philippines. they're all okay and everyone's accounted for.
Wonderful shot.
