Nest of Snow by sunnygreenwood

Nest of Snow

This little nest is near our front door. I think it was built by some nuthatches. If you have a moment, check out the architectural details.

Many thanks for dropping by.
Love what birds find to build their nests. Not sure what the white strands are - some type of paper?

Such a wonderful and detailed capture. Birds are mighty architects and in large view you can really see the work they put into their efforts.

When you look at details like that it always amazes you how they instinctively know how to do it all

Wonderful nest....I like how winter reveals those things you tried so hard to find in summer! This nuthatch looks like it got hold of some TP and shredded it!
