It was a comfortable morning weather-wise for the Santa Claus parade with the girls but by late afternoon, when we made our way to the Christmas tree farm, the sun was setting and it was quite chilly on the wagon ride around the farm. I commented that the horses would be glad to get "in" after their day of work. The driver said that they happily stay out in the field all night, not bothering with the shelter available nearby!
