Peace On Earth

Three of my favourite decorations in one image --- Peace on Earth is one of several sleighs we have. The God's Eye and the little stocking in the background were make by our son Jamie almost 30 years ago. The God's Eye is made out of woven yarn and popsicle sticks. The little red stocking he made by sewing two pieces of felt together and trimming with his initials and his girlfriend's intials --- both JB! Grade 4 was a fun year for him! lol.

Actually, I've always thought 4th grade was probably the best time for a child in school - at least from a teacher's view. That's what I taught for 35 years and loved that age. It is such fun to bring out these special ornaments each year.

Beautiful festive image. How wonderful to still have items in such good condition reflecting on memories from so many years ago. They are the best treasures ever.
