I have a pot of calla bulbs that are sitting in the living room by the patio door, along with some other plants I had brought in from the deck last fall. I was watering the pots last week and was surprised to find this pretty bloom. So much for the labour intensive routine I was supposed to have followed to clean them and store them in a cool, dry place for the winter for spring planting. I much prefer this nice pop of colour now, when there's still several cm of snow on the ground.
