With frigid temps after freezing rain, the windshield of the car ends up with an icy frame where the wipers don't reach. Little diamonds in the sun!
We drove a few km down the road and started hiking along a favourite route but cut it short when the broken-in tracks disappeared. It was too much work and too cold to cut our own path in the crusty snow so we went swimming instead --- 50+ lengths of the pool, about 1.3 km, good day!
Wow! what a clean windshield....and an awesome beauty view...love the blue sky with the contrast white...we have been under either fog cover or cloud for weeks now..
