I like the idea of the girls waiting patiently, sitting as close as sisters do, but the lines in this image drove me bananas. The far edge of the pool at water level is horizontal! Yea! At least one edge is! lol I tried other options and they made me dizzy!
About 10 minutes after this was taken, the life guards had finished their break and more than 40 screaming kids and parents were splashing around, including me! ;-)
Great shot. Love the two of them sitting close together and waiting. I sympathize about the lines--when I photograph buildings at an angle, sometimes nothing seems straight. I get almost seasick if horizons aren;t straight!
Sweet shot - and in difficult lighting. I messed with the lines on a shot I took today at the basketball game that drove me nuts - the horizontal for the top of the bleachers would be out of sync with the horizontal line at the bottom. And I knew that couldn't be! Finally managed to crop one out and keep the other. I gave up!
I probably wouldn't have noticed if you wouldn't have said anything. Great candid shot and I like the colorful banners above the scene--kind of balances it all out.
I've had several photos lately that have driven me to distraction with 'un-plumbed' lines. ☺
