Nice evening on the river! We saw two families of ducks, a blue heron, numerous turtles, a kingfisher, --- and the most interesting of all, I think the bottom of the kayak was nudged by a beaver when we got close to a beaver den. Yikes! I was definitely redirected by something. We were in deep water, with not a log or rock in sight! Now that's a first!
