I've posted at least one osprey shot each year here at 365. Here's my first for this year. We pass a few nests on our way to our granddaughters' house, some occupied and some not. This is the first time we've noticed birds at this particular nest. No peek at any babies yet.
I know from comments on previous osprey pics that in the United States, people are not allowed to get within a certain distance of their nests. Here in Canada at least in our area, these nests are built very close to the shoulder of the road. In this case, I just stood beside the open car door and used the roof of the car to steady the camera.
