Swainsons Thrush

This little bird took a moment to recuperate after hitting a window. It's the first time I've photographed a swainsons, and probably the first time I've seen one too.
ps. windows are decal'ed and not hit often. And they're clean too - this shot was taken from inside!

So glad he wasn't hurt too badly. It is the first time I have seen a Swainson as well - might have seen them before but not noted them.

I had a migrating Swainson's hit my window last fall and die. After that I finally put up the bird tape on that window. Glad yours survived.
