Not very original idea or very good try. I´ve seen this done here many times but I still wanted to try it myself. I got this red rose yesterday and I thought now is as good time as ever to try these macros out of a rose. Any tips?
Play with light from different angles, and see how it falls on the rose, creating shadows... go b&w and get closer & look for shapes --> abstract rose... play with that red color : find a lot of blue stuff and put the rose there to really make it pop... ?
A very lovely shot . I don't really feel qualified to give suggestions but you could also try different angles - but you probably did that. Light from a window is nice too.
It is a lovely shot. I agree with the sugeestion that perhaps a play with light shadow might work well. It is very evenly lit which makes it a little flat.
Hello! Beautiful flower!! I am your get pushed partner this week and before I head to bed I figured I should go ahead and give you your challenge! So, being that its the holiday season and everyone is seeing family and friends and many people are getting married this time of year (I've already been to two weddings in the past two weeks!) I'd like you to photograph love. What does love mean to you? what does it look like? Can you illustrate through a picture what love feels like? Get creative and definitely most important: have fun!
@happysnap Oh that sounds great, I'd like that:) Luckily I don't have to work before friday, so yeah I think I could take glass of Mulled wine, or two;-)
How about trying a backlit shot, side on?
