A filler, and that´s all I´m able to produce this week I´m afraid. I have my hands full with packing as I´m in a middle of a move right now. I´m moving to a smaller apartment which means that I´m getting rid of a lot of my stuff and it´s all about decisions like which one of the multible set of wine glasses I´m going to keep etc. I think that´s why I find this pic very fitting, cos that´s what I´m doing now, I´m putting X-mark to some of my stuff -and to my life in this house too. It´s all about new beginnings now.
Here's to new beginnings! Hope the move goes smoothly and it 'a always good to downsize. I used to live in a one room schoolhouse (converted to a home) and it had no closets or storage. We lived very lean and loved it. ;)
@gerry Thank you Gerry, I hope so too :) Thank you @kass , yes you´re right, it is good to downsize especially when one has a lot of stuff one never uses or even needs, not to mention even remembers having, apparently :D Also I´m really looking forward having everything I need near me, handy & I´m really not going to miss cleaning two floors especially since I don´t really need all this space anyway.
We are moving this week, too. We are only moving some stuff that we don't trust to the movers, though, like my scrapbooking stuff and my husband's comics and hunting stuff. Good luck with your move.
@virtualbrownie Thank you, actually for some reason I don't find it hard, I'd give everything away if I could...It's the going through the stuff that I find the hardest, all the memories and dreams that is attached to those things buried in the closet, it was really hard to go through those...

Suse, first of all, love the shot and feel like we do get signs in life that give us support. And secondly good luck with the move, I hope you find a wonderful, satisfying new beginning. Husband and I are going through our 43 years of accumulations and getting rid of "stuff", I can totally relate to how hard that is for you to do. It is the memories more than the item...
It's such a great symbolic shot! Good look with the move -- we did a massive downsizing about ten years ago, and know we have another one in the future. It's so hard!

@janim Thanks, ja näinhän se on :) Hah, ei oo mitään Leica-kameroita ym, kyllä mä nyt sen verran omat kaappini tunnen kuiteskin, et ei sieltä nyt mitään sellasii yllätyksii oo odotettavissa vaiks nyt muutaman kerran oonkin päässyt yllättyyn, ku oon löytänyt jotain mitä en oo yhtään muistanut omistavani ;) Mut jos joskus jostain tulee vastaan jotain sellaista, mist ite en oo kiinnostunut, niin ajattelen sit sua, I promise :)
I think the X is very much like the crossroads you find yourself in the center of. I do hope that there will be some new dreams (maybe more realistic??? Life is a great modifier!) and new experiences that make you realize that even the painful experiences have made you a better you. Amanda's advice is good! Look up for hope and courage. Look down to stay on track and not trip! hehe I applaud your ability to downsize. It's something I need to do too as I know I've got plenty of things that never came out of the moving boxes when we came here. I hope your move goes smoothly and that you find more peace and joy than you expected in the new home!
@amandal@olivetreeann Thank you Ann and Amanda, that´s really great advice, I will do that. I agree with you @olivetreeann about the crossroads, life is full of them and right now I´m in one. Life indeed is a great modifier and there´s not much left for me than to modify my dreams but I have faith in life and I trust that some happiness is in store for me still, life will carry me onwards in either way. And I´m actually very relieved about the downsizing, you should try it too, I bet you would feel great about it!
@kali66 Yes, grand cross indeed. Astrologically speaking this spring has been really hard on my sign but luckily the hardest part is over now, astrologically speaking at least.

@nanderson Thank you Nancy, but why does this feel so hard at this moment....I feel like I would want to stick with the old one just so I wouldn´t have to do this now.....yes I know, change is sometimes necessarrily and now is such a time. I need to do this and embrace the new, and maybe there will be some good times ahead. I really hope so.
@riverlandphotos Lol, I´ve always wanted to visit Scotland so I believe in some day I will...but if I find Gerard Butler, I may just end up keeping him myself, he´s so dreamy.....Loved that movie!!!!
