This is where we are staying in Florence. Palazzo Tolomei. The frescoes on the ceiling were painted in 1590. Raffaello was hosted here by the Taddeis family so he painted Madonna del Prato for them which now hangs in the Museum of Vienna.
Thank you Vera. There is a downside such as losing my lunch on the train from Florence to Venice. Had to cancel La Traviata which I'd been looking forward to for months. Such is life. I haven't even been out taking photos today. I hope to later
