Went to a fabulous exhibition at the Hazelhurst Gallery in Gymea. A lot of the paintings were done by people from the APY lands (Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara) which is where I've just been. It's a must see.
Aboriginal art has changed when you weren't looking Margo....it fairly explodes with colour and form these days...a long way from the earthy browns of the original Papunya artists. Nice to see this photo.
