I have this lens- I love it! I went back to my kit lens for a while cuz I wanted more zoom but I am pretty spoiled with this one and put it back on today

I've got one like this for Christmas! Now that you had it for a while, what is your impression? :) I like mine, especially all the light it can pack into the photo. But I seem to "overdo" the shallow DOF with it a lot! :)

@vera365 I like it a lot for being able to take 'what I see' but i think I prefer my 50mm for close ups and portraits. I agree I think I probably overdo the shallow depth of field too. It's my choice for carrying around with me most of the time
