I have had to come to Devon to be with my parents due to a very stressful family time.
I don't know how long this is going to be for I grabbed my camera bag and realised I have all my lenses and filters etc. but no camera!! so am having to make do with my phone. Its quite strange not having a camera on my shoulder.......
I love the clouds and sky color! Great detail in the water and clouds! Be careful about splitting the frame in half with the horizon and placing your subject in the center of the frame. The bottom is a little more than half. I cropped your photo and moved the boat off center. It was hard to crop because I didn't want to crop the clouds or too much of the breaking wave, but to give you an idea of what I mean. http://365project.org/skipt07/potpourri/2015-10-09

Thankyou all, the sailing ship here is quite meaningful for us as a family at the moment. My brother is lost in the south China seas following the hurricane last week along with 15 fishermen. There is a comprehensive search continuing but another typhoon due on Sunday. We cling on to hope as there has been no evidence found of any debris but the waiting is getting harder.
