I was having a quick sandwich and about 30 of these geese came and joined me.
Luckily my sandwich was of no interest to them so they just happily looked for their own lunch.
@peadar Ha, there are three possible reasons for their lack of interest, There is a big sign up saying do not feed them so they perhaps have given up trying, or it could be because it was a chicken sandwich, which really doesn't seem right to give them anything that was once feathered, or it could be because we are away in Telford this weekend so they don't know me :)
These Canada geese do seem to roam in big numbers. They are also very keen on keeping the grass short - more so than being fed - in my experience. You got a good close up of them in their business.
