The amount of time I spent on this shot is ridiculous. I made myself so dizzy with camera on timer, wafting my head up and down in front of it. All the shots were so very noisy, and then I spent forever trying to decide if to upload it or not.
My only other option again, was some holly berries, so I figured that if I'm going to make the 52 portraits of me challenge work, then I'd best get used to such dilemmas.
I kind of disguised the noise with the help of a topaz filter which magically transformed it into swirls.
Next weeks challenge prompt is Science Fiction / Futuristic, now that should be fun
When I started to read your narrative about all the head wafting going on, I thought that all the swirls must have been hair flying out and I was a bit worried there for a while. It's the real Farah Fawcett look.
You did a great job Suzanne. This is a really creative self portrait and well worth posting. I am so busy struggling with my colours, that the self portrait challenge I completely forgot! So thanks for the reminder. Well done for persevering with this and posting - it really is excellent.
Suzanne this is super! I do like how you were able to transform the noise into like Poppo Livy said, hair! Way cool shot - totally glad you chose to upload it!
Awesome shot... and I absolutely love the editing. Well worth all the effort and dizzyness (easy for me to say... I wasn't the one getting dizzy... but I'm glad that I get to enjoy looking at this awesome shot :-))
This is really cool, well done! I love the editing to disguise the noise too. I feel your pain about having to try over and over again and getting noisy shots although luckily my idea didn't bring on dizziness!
;-))
