Unharvested

Such a grey and miserable day today so I'm using this one from the weekend when we had some lovely clouds.
The field of wheat has been left unharvested, we have quite a lot around here, I have no idea why it's been left like this, I shall ask Ian, a friend of ours, who helps out at harvest time.

I agree with Helen Jane. Great moody sky. Sometimes some of the crop is left to encourage the pheasants so that there is another ‘ crop’ to harvest!

Those windows tax was in Holland to. You can see that on the houses build that time. I do n`t supose it`s the reason on the church.
