Which one would you choose?

I have this problem almost daily, I take about 50 shots and then spend forever deciding which one to go for.

Yesterday I posted photo #5 but I want to send a card to the pony owners with one of these shots. I'm thinking number one, just out of interest I wonder which would be the favourite with you.

I haven't cropped them or anything (apart from #4 where I've cloned out the fence) they are how they turned out from pointing the camera in his direction and hoping for the best!

@suzanne234 Especially on the days when they're all rubbish! Today took loads of wild orchid shots with my phone but don't like any of them. Do you find you're getting pickier as time goes on?

I think most of us have that problem Suzanne! One tends to get fussy too. I like them all, but will go with the middle one 😉

@fbailey Oh yes! Especially now I've started processing, the first 6 months were pretty much just cropped, now I'll have a bit (or a lot) of a faff with them and there's another 4 or 5 versions of the same shot to choose from!

My favorite for a card to send to the owners would be number one. It seems to show the pony's personality, especially showing its eye and the side of its head. I think they would appreciate seeing more of its sweet face.

Agree with previous but you could also do a collage .

i like the middle shot best but make a collage card!

i have thousands of images that never got used because of the one per day rule, and sooooo many shots of one thing which i have trouble selecting from, but its all learning and as time has gone by i would hope its easier and quicker to get a shot i think is the best. i have started an instagram account to show off older photos in series that were shot at the same time, looking at them with fresh eyes and with the benefit of hindsight.

It's between #1 and #3 for me. I like the angle of #1 but I like the feet in #3. They are all great!

Has #1 been cropped to fit in here? If you have the full shot of the head, then I would use 1 but if this is the full shot, I would stick with 5

@terryliv nope, not cropped I'm afraid Poppo, that's just how it came out (he was a lot smaller then me in my defence though :))

I like them all but would go with #1 or #3 !
I always have trouble deciding what to post as well...too many to choose from! Between the taking, editing and quote, hours and hours go by! :)
