The Lakota Wolf Preserve in Northern New Jersey is the home to a number of rescued wolves that, for various reasons, can't be reintroduced to the wild. They hold tours, but they also hold guided photo sessions where a guide works with you and the wolves to get some great shots. My wife signed me up for one of these sessions for my birthday this year. Had to wait several months, because my birthday is in the summer and the wolves have much better coats and are more active in the winter. It was well worth the wait ... here is one of my better shots.
