Cornish graveyards are full these celtic crosses. It has come to symbolise the Cornish people's unique ethnic identity and their links back to their ancient Celtic ancestry.
@teachntravel The Scots, The Irish and Welsh and The Cornish are all on the outer edges of the country and all have a claim to be descended from the ancient Celts. The Celtic crosses are common in all of those places. The rest of the UK has all been diluted by the Normans and the Romans. :)
