You Got Any Road Kill Pannini's?

This crow visits the sandwich bar in Looe every day and is fed off cuts and little tasty meaty treats by the owner.

This is a mutually beneficial relationship as the crow in return chases all the seagulls away, which prevents the customers being attacked, robbed and shat on by seagulls.

Looks so much better on black (Doesn't everything?)
Great picture and story! Isn't that a rook though, with the white beak?

@guysnape It might well be.... I'm no hornyphologeist. :)

Love the perspective! Tho, if you had been a step or two closer, you might have been in danger of being shat upon by him!

Awesome! Such a cool capture, love it !

@guysnape If it makes any difference to the great photo, I am in agreement that this is a rook. They have the white around the beak, whereas a crow is all black.

Well spotted. You've also managed to get some detail in the dark crow. Well done.

I really love this. Whether it's a crow (as you said) or a rook (as some say here), I don't care, I love these kinds of birds and they are smart and have a ton of personality. This is very cool - love that relationship between the owner and him!
