Heartlands

Heartlands is part of the old South Crofty mine complex which is now a huge tourist attraction with it's original engine house and it's huge beam engine. Lots to see if you are interested in Cornwall's rich mining history There is a great restaurant and various shops and also art and photographic exhibitions.

A great place to visit if you are in the area...... Particularly in 2017 as there will be an exhibition of some of my photographic work on display.

Excellent shot! There's a rich Cornish tradition over here, too. Places like Moonta and Burra which brought over Cornish miners.
