Is it just me or do you get really bored with keep going to the same places and taking the same photos again and again?
I'm now into my 5th year of photo a day type journals and to honest, most of the local area has been pretty much worked to death and I am having to start going further and further afield to a daily shot of something new.
Went to Caerhays Castle yesterday and there is a wealth of photo opportunities there which should keep me going for a while. Just a 15 mile detour on our way into work for an early morning constitutional, but well worth it.
@kali66 It feels like I have photographed the Mevagissey lighthouse from every conceivable angle and in every type of light with every type of cloud behind it........ To get a different shot of it I'm working with subtle nuances that are almost undetectable to the human eye. ;)
Great sun flare. I've been here for less than a year and I often feel that way. I love your harbour and lighthouse shots. I guess what is so familiar to us can be new and interesting to others.
