Bunting

Bunting is one of those words that always makes my smile for no good reason at all.

Ancient mariners used to communicate between ships at sea by flying small flags called bunting. The person who was in charge of this process was known as the bunting tosser. Which I also find outrageously funny for no good or appropriate reason...
