The Celts are the ancient peoples of Britain who retreated to the far reaches of Scotland, Northumberland, Ireland, Wales and Cornwall when the likes of the Romans and the Normans invaded and occupied the central areas of Brittan.
In the past they have usually been depicted as wild painted savages, however, this if far from the truth. The Celts were a very civilised and sophisticated race as is evidenced by the wealth of art, jewellery and artefacts that have been unearthed.
Eric the seagull is not particularly impressed by such things. Seagulls have seen the rise and fall of many great civilisations. I'm sure they will be there to witness the decline and fall of our current "civilisation" and will probably not mourn it's passing.
@365projectorgsebgritt No he is from a tribe of gulls that have evolved from the Herring gull and now rely almost exclusively on coastal tourists for their food. They are now know as the Pasty Gulls.
