It is a tradition among us Pirates of St. Piran, that 6 of us (The Production Team) gather at this time each year to select the songs the crew will perform at out gigs for the coming year.
With about 120 songs in in our repertoire, it can get quite tricky choosing the 50 songs we need.
We operate a triage system - Shoo ins - Posibilities - those that need work - and the bin jobs.
As all six of us are very passionate about our music, It is a job that requires great concentration, careful consideration, reasoned debate, violent argument, serious bloodshed, murder most foul and of course...... vast quantities of alcohol.
